AOS-1 — the governance runtime contract
AOS-1 defines the runtime governance contract mAIb Tech products implement: kill switch, approval gates, tamper-evident audit and signed receipts. It is the trust architecture underneath — not a product you must understand to buy Locs or GAIO.
What the runtime guarantees
Kill switch
Any governed AI system can be stopped immediately, regardless of state — and the stop action itself is recorded.
Approval gates
Changes that affect what an AI system knows or does pass human approval gates that fail closed.
Tamper-evident audit
Append-only, hash-chained records of decisions, actions and approvals.
Signed receipts
Execution receipts that let outcomes be verified after the fact.
AOS-1 and its WACE component are optional integrations for mAIb products — Locs and GAIO implement the governance contract and stand on their own. AOS-1 is under active development; capabilities such as its marketplace and venture modules are roadmap items, not shipped features.
