Scope

These terms govern your use of the maib.io website, operated by mAIb Tech LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("mAIb Tech", "we", "us"). They do not govern any mAIb Tech software product: products are licensed exclusively under signed agreements and product-specific terms published on the relevant product site (for example, Locs terms at locs.maib.io/legal). Where a signed agreement exists, it prevails.

Informational content

Content on this website is provided for general information. It describes architecture, design intent and current status as accurately as we can, but it is not an offer, a warranty, or legal, regulatory or investment advice.

The readiness self-assessment is a preliminary, non-binding self-evaluation tool. Its output is not an audit, a certification, or advice.

No certification claims

References to frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC standards, GDPR and others) describe design alignment or roadmap intent. mAIb Tech does not claim an issued certification unless explicitly stated.

Intellectual property

The website and its content are owned by mAIb Tech or its licensors. The GAIO Doctrine whitepaper is published under CC BY 4.0 and may be reused under that licence. Product names (mAIb, Locs, GAIO, AOS-1) are trade names of mAIb Tech.

Acceptable use

You agree not to disrupt the website, attempt unauthorised access, or misuse contact channels. Security research is welcome within the responsible-disclosure policy.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website is provided "as is" and mAIb Tech is not liable for damages arising from reliance on its informational content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the effective date above changes when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
